Ladies Who Launch

October 2 | 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

ladies who launch

Join us at this annual event to celebrate female founders! We will be hosting a panel discussion around the unique experiences of women in leadership and business founding roles. Founders, co-founders and leaders within organizations alongside those who support local businesses have offered great advice and stories to audiences in past years. Bring your questions for our dynamic group of women in entrepreneurship to this year’s event.

This year’s featured panelists:

  • Ruka Osoba – Ruka is the startup founder of Pathstitch, an education technology platform that connects data to improve teacher development, satisfaction, and support.
  • Emily Foster – Emily is the owner and founder of Alpacasews, a stuffed animal brand based in Raleigh, North Carolina. She got her degree in meteorology from NC State University in 2021, but started Alpacasews in her final semester after she found her love for product design and creative marketing.
  • Isabella Dearr – Isabella is a 2023 graduate of NC State University, where she majored in Entrepreneurship and minored in Art Entrepreneurship. In 2020, Isabella founded Your Vision Customs which is an art business focused on creating hand painted footwear for local businesses.
  • Jenn Summe – Jenn, host of GrepBeat’s In the Soup podcast and leader of Primordial, leverages 10 years in Triangle tech to support 12-15 NC-based startups annually in business development, marketing, and customer experience.

This event takes place at The Corner, located at 941 Main Campus Dr, across the street from Partners I. Please RSVP here to attend.
