Every semester the BSC hosts a speed networking event with environmental and socially responsible changemakers offering NC State students and local professionals an opportunity to connect and with our local Triangle-based businesses!

NC State Ranks Top 20 in Best Colleges for Entrepreneurs

NC State has been ranked by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine as a “Top Undergraduate Schools for Entrepreneurship Studies for 2019,” coming in at No. 11 on the list and ranking as the top school in the state of North Carolina.

The ranking was based on a Princeton Review survey of over 300 universities. More than 40 data points were analyzed, with topics including the percentage of faculty, students, alumni actively and successfully involved in entrepreneurial endeavors, the number and reach of mentorship programs, scholarships and grants for entrepreneurial studies, and the level of support for school-sponsored business plan competitions.

Each semester, the BSC organizes a speed networking event which features environmentally and socially conscious changemakers, granting NC State students and local professionals a chance to establish fresh networking connections. This occasion showcases the array of entrepreneurs and small businesses within the triangle area. Our objective is to introduce students to diverse sustainability-focused career paths.
