Insights and Strategies for Aspiring Sustainability Professional; Perspectives from a Young Professional

Kayla Bashore is an experienced sustainability analyst at CHS, Inc., a diversified global agribusiness cooperative owned by farmers and member cooperatives across the United States. She graduated from the North Carolina State University’s Jenkins MBA program with a concentration in marketing and certification in business leadership in 2023. Kayla brings a wealth of leadership experience focusing on marketing, human resources, and sustainability topics. As a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned her degree in agricultural education and communication, Kayla has spent her career in the agriculture industry helping to serve farmers and ranchers that provide the world with food, fiber, and fuel. Her passion for sustainability was sparked during her time with the Jenkins MBA program through courses like MBA 582 and her involvement with the Business Sustainability Collaborative.
