The Business Sustainability Collaborative team is thrilled to celebrate two outstanding achievements that reflect our commitment to fostering leadership in sustainability.

First, we congratulate Rachel Haynes, BSC’s Program Manager, on being selected for the GreenBiz 2025 Emerging Leaders Program. This prestigious recognition highlights Rachel’s dedication to driving sustainable business practices and her growing impact in the field. As an Emerging Leader, Rachel will join a network of change-makers committed to shaping a more sustainable future and attend the GreenBiz 2025 conference representing the BSC and Poole College of Management.

We’re equally excited to share that Clara Stec, our BSC Associate, has been accepted into the KIETs Climate Leaders Program. Clara’s passion for addressing climate challenges and advancing solutions aligns perfectly with this program’s mission to empower leaders in tackling the world’s most pressing environmental issues. Clara will be engaging with a diverse cohort of students and faculty mentors through seminars, panels, and interdisciplinary discussions on climate solutions as she prepares for an internship placement centered around climate change mitigation. BSC Director, Jessica Yinka Thomas, will serve as her faculty advisor for this program.

Lastly, we’re excited to share that Aren Koraian, one of our BSC Associates, has been hired as an Administrative Operations Project Management Intern at Tanium for Summer 2025. Aren’s background in data analytics, business operations, and sustainability aligns with Tanium’s mission of optimizing enterprise security, efficiency, and sustainability. In this role, he will support process improvement initiatives across the Procurement, Real Estate, and Security functions within the company, leveraging his analytical skills to improve operational workflows. Aren will apply his experience in sustainability to drive data-informed decision-making and optimize resource management, helping to establish more sustainable business practices within the company.

These accomplishments underscore the talent and drive of our BSC team and their contributions to sustainability innovation. We look forward to supporting Rachel and Clara as they continue to lead the way in creating positive change.
