Students Develop Pitch for Green 3D Printing Material in “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” Course

Kyle TaylorProfessor Jeff Pollock has been working to integrate sustainability in his MIE 310 course, Introduction to Entrepreneurship. As part of the course, students submit a two-minute video presenting a pitch for a value creating opportunity. In our BSC Perspectives video series, we’re delighted to share one of the top submissions from Prof. Pollack’s Spring 2017 course.

A team of undergraduate Poole College students created a video pitch for S3D, which is “developing GreenMatter, the most environmentally friendly 3D printing material on the market, in order to help individuals and manufacturers eliminate the negative environmental effects of 3D printing. All of the materials used in the production of GreenMatter are 100% renewable, and the naturally biodegradable final product can be recycled for reuse.”

The team is composed of Kyle Taylor, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Keziah Lloyd, Chief Development Officer and Joseph Sharpe, Chief of Marketing.
