BSC joins the NBS Sustainability Centers Community

The Business Sustainability Collaborative has joined the Network for Business Sustainability (NBS) Centers network, composed of sustainability centers at business schools around the world that are dedicated to helping create a more sustainable business model. Established in 2005, the Network for Business Sustainability is a powerful and growing network of international academic experts and business leaders. NBS produces authoritative resources on important sustainability issues – with the goal of shaping management practice and research. We connect thousands of researchers and professionals worldwide who are interested in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and who believe in the value of research-based practice and practice-based research.

Hundreds of sustainability centers at business schools around the world are dedicated to helping create a more sustainable business model. These centers teach, conduct research, and work with industry to make a social and environmental change. The Sustainability Centres Community was launched in 2012 as a response to the need for greater center collaboration and for an online platform to facilitate collaboration. Members represent more than 120 academic-based sustainability centers from five continents that work to collaborate, and share news and opportunities.business schools. Like the BSC, these centers are directed by academics and administrators who believe in creating more sustainable business through research, teaching, and outreach.
